约翰Sabois a professor of river ecology and water resources in the School of Life Sciences and founding director ofFuture H2Oin the Office of Knowledge Enterprise Development at Arizona State University. Future H2O was committed by ASU to the 2016 White House Water summit. He is also a senior sustainability scientist in the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Institute of Sustainability, a fellow in the Institute for the Future of Innovation in Society, an honors faculty in the Barrett Honors College, and serves on the Graduate Faculty in the Hydrosystems Engineering Graduate Program.
Under the Future H2O umbrella, Sabo seeks to leverage his training as an Aldo Leopold Leadership Fellow to synthesize and synergize the diversity and depth of ASU water scholarship. To do this, Future H2O sponsors innovative interdisciplinary faculty teams to build research assets that catalyze boundary crossing water research. Future H2O also facilitates the translation of this research into impact via collaboration with unique NGOs, transboundary multilaterals, the private sector, venture funds and innovation ecosystems that combine these stakeholders in unique ways.
