Abby Finis

Abby Finis currently works on a variety of projects related to energy and sustainability. She has a particular interest in helping smaller communities with fewer resources adapt to the changing environment in ways that can be economically and locationally beneficial. I believe the key to a healthy community is putting residents first.

In the past, she has worked closely with Minnesota local governments primarily on energy issues. Her experience has involved large-scale project management, technical assistance and project support with a particular focus on energy programs and policy, sustainability and opportunity assessment.

Finis earned a master’s of urban and regional planning from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota, and a bachelor’s in political science from the University of Oregon.
