What happens when the maker of Bubble Wrap joins with a small business that harvests mushrooms? Sealed Air's partnership with startup Ecovative has helped to scale up the production of a biodegradable, mushroom-based material that's already found inside the boxes that ship Dell laptops. Sealed Air's Sustainable Solutions Business Manager, Tim McInerney, and Ecovative CEO Eben Bayer explored the impact of this collaboration on business, the environment and the bottom line at GreenBiz Forum 2014. Innovative measures include letting customers market the material. "It's great to do good," said McInerney. "Not taking credit for doing that good is a missed opportunity."
