In February 2013, Asia Pulp & Paper (APP) announced theForest Conservation Policy, a commitment to protect land from deforestation, including 6 million acres in Indonesia and China. To take this significant step forward, APP relied on the insights and support of The Forest Trust (TFT) and Greenpeace. At GreenBiz Forum 2014, APP's Aida Greenbury, Greenpeace's Rolf Skar and TFT's Scott Poynton chatted with GreenBiz chairman and executive editor Joel Makower about this powerful partnership one year after the heralded policy was enacted. "We realize that if we want to be really successful in stopping deforestation and stopping climate change, we cannot work alone," said Greenbury.
