Tom is the Director of Sustainability Services at Waste Management. The group provides strategic consulting, advisory and total project management services for Waste Management’s customers.

Tom Carpenter provides over 18 years of environmental and business management experience. His client work has spanned various industries and organizations including: manufacturing, chemical, consumer products, commercial properties, retail and education. Through the pioneering of a sustainability consultancy within Waste Management, his speaking engagements and sustainability strategy expertise, Tom has helped business leaders leverage sustainability as a platform for innovation in developing their products and services while creating long-term value.
